A creative union from two forces; Capitol K returns with a collaborative single alongside CHILD.

Ħabbata (knocker) was improvised using primitive technology under adverse conditions within a hill top bunker. Ħabbata draws on pertinent moods. Sense of place and personal sovereignty.
Set to a hard electronic drum and minimal bass. CHILD voices the hypnotic melody as an invitation, “Day after day / The day is knocking / How will you greet today ?”

Sung in Maltese, a rare Semitic language, evolved from Siculo-Arabic. Vocals, punk roots and a deep love for electronica shape CHILD’s sound. Her natural instrument is the voice which she combines with synthesis and minimal hardware beat production to create an ethereal language of classic electronica and dark ambient song forms.

Kristian Craig Robinson, known professionally as Capitol K, is a Malta-born, London-based musician, producer, and recording engineer who is a seminal figure in the folktronica genre. Raised across Dubai, Brunei, and England, he first gained prominence in the late 1990s and 2000s with albums like Sounds of the Empire and Island Row on labels Planet Mu and XL Recordings, pioneering a sound that blends lo-fi indie-pop, electronica, and field recordings.
Beyond his solo discography, which includes his milestone 10th album Artichoke released in November 2025, Robinson is the founder of the Faith and Industry label and the operator of the influential Total Refreshment Centre studio in London, where he has produced and engineered records for acclaimed artists including The Comet Is Coming, Dry Cleaning, Thurston Moore, and Alabaster DePlume.
